Cloud Architect - Migration Specialist
John Calabrese recognized the opportunity to help organizations reduce the risk associated with security, integration, performance, and availability when migrating to public, private or hybrid cloud solutions.

As CEO of Cloud Architect, Mr. Calabrese teamed up with thought leaders in the cloud computing space and developed Cloud Migration process model of: Assess, Monitor, Tune and Deploy as a way to help customers migrate to cloud technology and services.

Managing Principal
John Calabrese manages the day-to-day aspects of PowerTest’s East Coast operation. He began his career with PowerTest as manager of sales and marketing. From 1996 to 1999, John helped build PowerTest’s professional services and software reselling practices in the San Francisco Bay Area. He relocated to Virginia and opened PowerTest’s Washington D.C. Metro Area office where he built the business from the zero to 8 million per year in revenue. John earned recognition as a certified product instructor and certified product specialist with HP Software's automated software test tools. He has worked in various management and hands-on positions involving test automation, retail management and business development for both established and startup firms. John graduated with a B.S. in Marketing from San Francisco State.

James Pulley

Current Role
Cloud Performance Architect

As CTO of Cloud Architect, Mr. Pulley identifies and implements the tools and processes required to successfully migrate customers to a cloud hosted model in public, private and hybrid solutions. James Pulley is also CTO of our sister organizations, The ScriptFarm and LoadRunner By The Hour. Both ScriptFarm and LoadRunnerByTheHour are focused on the testing and tuning of applications for optimal performance.

Prior to joining Cloud-Architect, James managed the professional services delivery for PowerTest, founded iTest Solutions and worked for Mercury Interactives PSO & Sales organizations, Gigalabs, NetIQ, Banyan Systems and Microsoft. His background includes roles in both sales and professional services delivery, with technical concentrations on OS and Application architectures, network and application infrastructure performance. He is also a moderator for several professional forums related to performance testing and tuning (with respect to Mercury/HP tools) and the cloud-computing forum on SQAForums.
